URGENT NEWS—Maintenance and Related and Fleet Service Reach T/A

This afternoon TWU Negotiators and the Company reached a Tentative Agreement for Maintenance and Related and Fleet Service work groups at American Eagle.

TWU Local Union representatives on the M&R and Fleet negotiating committees have been in 1113 negotiations since March 21, 2012 attempting to reach a tentative agreement, working aggressively to lessen the impact of the Company’s concessionary asks on our members. The deals reached reflect considerable differences from the Company’s March 21st term sheets, saving many critical contractual benefits like daily overtime and holidays. Highlights of these differences, as well as full text language will be available in the coming weeks.

The tentative agreements announced today will be put to TWU membership for a vote in the near future. If ratified, these deals provide for 1.5 percent increases in 2015 and 2016 for our members. We will continue to keep you updated as information develops.
