On June 7, 2013, the Bankruptcy Court entered the order (the “Disclosure Statement Order”) approving the disclosure statement relating to the second amended joint plan of reorganization of AMR Corporation and affiliates (the “Plan”).  In addition to approving the Disclosure Statement, the Disclosure Statement Order established the following important dates relating to the Plan approval process:

June 20, 2013  Deadline for Debtors to Mail Notice Packages, including ballots for those entitled to vote on the Plan

July  29, 2013 @ 5:00 p.m. (ET) Deadline for those entitled to vote to submit ballots to accept or reject the Plan

July 30, 2013   @ 4:00 p.m. (ET)  Deadline to file objections to Plan

August 8, 2013 @ Noon (ET)  Deadline for Debtors and Creditors Committee to file replies to Plan objections

August 15, 2013 @ 10:00 a.m. (ET) Hearing scheduled for Bankruptcy Court to consider confirmation of Plan

DALLAS, TX - February 14, 2013 – Leaders from five major unions representing more than 60,000 American Airlines and US Airways employees today voiced their strong support for the merger of AMR Corporation (OTCQB: AAMRQ), the parent company of American Airlines, Inc., and US Airways Group, Inc. (NYSE: LCC). The merger of American Airlines and US Airways was announced today.
